Schwab Pasture, which included the Lamont Oil Field, in production, circa 1920. According to Anna Schwab, at one time there were 80 active, pumping wells in this Lamont OIl Field. The road in the foreground traveled around the base of Demler Hill, which is the large hill just west of Lamont. This pasture was first owned by Charles L. Schwab and then Sam Schwab.
